Since the original building was erected in 1886, an addition was built to the east with a basement in 1998. The school continues to have only one teacher to service the students in kindergarten through eighth grade. Eccles School has a strong family background, with many students having parents who attended Eccles School as youngsters.

Although most country schools are thought of as a "Little House on the Prairie" school, we are as modern as other K-12 districts in the area.
