Eccles School began teaching students in the fall of 1886. The land
was first owned by Mr. & Mrs. William Stafford. The land was later
transferred to Mary Smith and then deeded to the Eccles School for
the sum of $1.00. Forty-eight teachers have taught at the Eccles
School. Our Student population has ranged from seven in 1990-1991 to
a high of 61 in 1905-1906. In 2003-2004 Eccles School had 27
Students. We currently have 15 students. |

Welcome to 2012! Our big news for Janaury is that we are starting Library/Gym on Friday afternoons beginning on January 13th. Students must bring back ALL books every Friday that we go to Lib/Gym. If they wish to renew the book, they must still bring it back! Thank you. The end of the second marking period/first semester is Friday, January 13th. Be thinking of Career Boards! It will be here before you know it. Science Fair information will be sent home the beginning of February. In case of a snow delay or closure, please listen to WLEW or check thumbnet.net. You may also see it on WNEM. Decisions will be made by 7am. Thanks. |
