Eccles School began teaching students in the fall of 1886. The land was first owned by Mr. & Mrs. William Stafford. The land was later transferred to Mary Smith and then deeded to the Eccles School for the sum of $1.00. Forty-eight teachers have taught at the Eccles School. Our Student population has ranged from seven in 1990-1991 to a high of 61 in 1905-1906. In 2003-2004 Eccles School had 27 Students.

The 3rd-6th graders should be finishing up their Young Authors stories this week.  Typing will take place and then pictures can be drawn.

MEAP Tests begin next week for grades 3rd-8th.  Please be sure students get plenty of rest and a good breakfast.  Please stress to students how important these tests are.  Please avoid making appointments in the afternoon during those days that we have MEAP tests - see October Calendar for MEAP days.

Be sure students are studying for ALL tests!

Progress Reports should be coming home on Monday, October 13th.
