Eccles School began teaching students in the fall of 1886. The land was first owned by Mr. & Mrs. William Stafford. The land was later transferred to Mary Smith and then deeded to the Eccles School for the sum of $1.00. Forty-eight teachers have taught at the Eccles School. Our Student population has ranged from seven in 1990-1991 to a high of 61 in 1905-1906. In 2003-2004 Eccles School had 27 Students.  We currently have 16 students.

Friday, November 6, was the last day of the First Marking Period.  Report Cards will be completed soon, and Parent Teacher Conferences will be held next week. Please come in and sign up for a time that is convenient for you.

Our Thanksgiving Feast is Wed., November 25.  We are in charge of potatoes (which we have already taken care of ), rolls, bread, and butter.  If each family gets one dozen rolls or one loaf of bread, we should be all set.  More information to come.

Please keep in mind the weather is getting colder all the time. It's time to get out winter coats, hats, gloves, boots, and be thinking about snow pants!
